A Miracle for Marina

Seven-year-old Luz Marina Moreno Aramayo was deathly ill ... until Latin America ChildCare found her and helped turn her life around!

Marina and her parents, sister, and two brothers live in a one-room shack in Santa Fe, Bolivia. Marina contracted chronic asthma and bronchitis at an early age, but there was no money to treat her worsening problems. Her parents went to see the local doctors many times, but they could not offer any treatment or medicine that would make her better. They had no money to try other doctors or medicines.

When missionaries discovered Marina at an LACC-sponsored school, they knew immediately that she needed help. Through our Extreme Poverty Fund, LACC was able to arrange for Marina to visit a specialist in the city. Before her appointment, Marina’s parents, teachers, and the missionaries joined together to pray for a miracle in little Marina’s life.

And a miracle is what Marina got! She received the medicines and treatments needed to get her Asthma and other problems under control. As she continues to see the doctor and develop her breathing, Marina should live a normal, healthy life. Marina is just one example of the many lives touched by your ministry and outreach to those less fortunate through the work of Latin America ChildCare. Thank you for continuing to love and care for all of God’s precious children!
